CHOCOLATE INDULGENCE MASSAGE (back only)

Another increasingly popular form of massage therapy once only found in spas around the world years gone by. These days a well being centre wouldn't be the same without this being offered.

The chocolate indulgence is as it says, with this special method you can enjoy the chocolate without the calories.

Step one

You are given a skin scrub using 100% natural dead sea salts with a hint of oils before your warm cocoa massage lubricant is applied

Step Two

The therapist melts 100% pure organic cocoa with a hint of almond oil to a warm soothing temperature. This is when the majority of your massage is performed. This makes you and your surrounding area smell delicious at the same times hydrating your skin and feeding your senses through smell, what better way to relax.

Step Three

Your therapist warms the natural fibres of soft loofah style mits and towels to remove the chocolate from your back

Step Four

You will finish off by being given a moisturising massage with the use of 100% natural pure cocoa butter which is melted down to a warm soothing temperature. Cocoa butter is an extract from cocoa beans during the process of seperating the powder and liquor from the bean. 70% of the world's production of cocoa butter is produced in the West African Nations Nigeria, this makes your skin feel impeccably soft and smelling delicious.

MASSAGE FOR THE DISABLED

Often, people with a disability get left out of the holistic complementary massage world due to the lack of facilities at many salons/clinic/centres.

I can offer people with a disability, massage therapy in their own home or establishment.

I can understand how many disabled, especially those with spinal injuries can not get on board a mobile therapists massage bed due to the height and restrictions of what this method can put forward.

This is where I can provide an alternative. Like they do in many countries in charitable organisations that provide massage. I provide a 6mm thick foam comfort mat (like those used in gymnasiums but softer) with pillows (provided by the therapist) so you can have your massage therapy comfortable laying on the floor.

I have done a day course in handling and lifting and use with an electrical hoist so i can assist a carer/guardian with lifting and manoevering using a hoist if needed. I also have a CRB.

HORSE RIDER SPECIFIC MASSAGE

As a horse rider and owner, you are much too busy trying to fit your busy schedule around your horse, your horse widow and children. That saying "there just aren't enough hours in the day" springs to mind

You have aches and pains which get ignored. Your falls can give a build up of scar tissue, adhesions as well as structural misalignments reducing flexibility in performance.

CENTRE OF GRAVITY

How many times have you as a rider/horse owner, heard or read that mentioned?

WHAT IS IT?

Your centre of gravity is in your lower lumber regions L5 and your Sacrum S1 (low back pelvic region) joint-balancing your whole core stability over these points. When this is altered it can result in muscle tensions and development leading to postural defects especially the spine. Riders know their posture is the key aspect to their horses' performance. Whether you're a leisure rider or professional equestrian athlete, you should take time out to look after yourself for a change.
