Taster Sessions Alternative Therapy
Guest Practicioners at the North West Therapy Centre, took part in a launch to get the newly opened North West Therapy Centre of Abingdon Street Blackpool FY1 1PP on the map for the community.
We all took part in providing over 102 varied treatments, i.e. EFT, Wellbeing clinic, Aromatherapy, Indian Head, Hypnotherapy, Reiki, hot stones and lots more.
In doing this, we also raised money for the Martin Yates Charitable Independant living fund Church Street Blackpool www.myils.org.uk
I provided approx 30 treatments in the weekend from 830am in the morning until 6pm in the evening non stop. I thoroughly enjoyed showing people what our specific professional areas were all about, i loved meeting all these new people and all the fellow therapists at the centre.
Not only did it help boost the centre, it also boosted therapies that only people had heard of but never tried. With some of the clients coming back for full sessions afterwards.
I just wish now, somewhere else offered this event so i can actually try some of these other therapies for myself haha
Fund Raising on behalf of brain haemorrhage victim
May 2008
Brenda French 51 year old mother/grandmothersuffered a brain haemorrhage two days before she was due to fly back home after visiting her husband in Mexico for their aniversary. Brenda had toothache upon discovery was a tumour, Brenda now remains on life support in a mexcian hospital.The family need £45 k to cover the medical services and to fly her back to the UK due to sadly having a mishap with the medical insurance for her trip.
A few therapists are having a get together to try and raise at least £1000 towards the fees.
Iam particulary offering HOME / WORK/ ESTABLISHMENT VISITS - MASSAGE: Swedish, Sports Remedial and hot stone all for ONLY £7 a time!!! Yes, Just £7 a time for this cause only. ALL PROCEEDS thats 100% of whats taken will be donated to the cause.
Iam also going to be doing sponsored massage here and Preston. So please, look out for the information!
